Lead by Playstation 3
Playstation 3 or PS3 was always expected to gain its commanding position at the release of the gaming console but due to prices and competition it was not able to gain the expected prominence. Sony, recently reduced the prices by 100 dollars and almost immediately the statistics from the market place show that PS3 can get some market share. It is supposed to have sold more units than Xbox 360 for the week ending 07/14/2007. According to Blog-Bee.Com:
"PS3 is rumored to be preparing for showdown at Leipzig, next month. It may be preparing for surprise announcements. Sony may be adding new services like video-on-demand and Freeview TV features to spice up PS3 and PSP."
Now, we may see some exciting news in Europe and expect similar news in North America, as well. Seems like that this Christmas PS3 will be the moste favored gift for the young nephews and nieces.
