Cricket World Cup 2007 - India needs help
India and Pakistan are two countries crazy about the sport of Cricket. It was wishful that either of them could win the championship. In their own kind of spirit, the spectators would have liked the two to meet and for the each of countries, that would be a chance equal to the world cup final!
Due to some utterly dismal performance by both the teams, both are out in the first round. That’s the first time it has happened but perhaps they will have to get used to of it! Remember, India and Pakistan were powerhouses of the Field Hockey till a few years back and now either of the two teams do not make it to the finals. India, in fact fails to qualify, even for the championships.
I feel bad for the nearly 1.1 billion people living in India that they cannot produce one championship in any sport in a year!! There are several countries in Africa which produce winners in some sport but not India.
I feel that we should backup India!
